Answer: Here at Magical Toy Aussies we put a lot of time and money into raising high-quality Toy & Mini Australian Shepherds in our home. We are excited to work with serious buyers to find their perfect pup. If you are purchasing a puppy from me you are more than welcome to come out to meet the dogs and pick your puppy after puppies first vaccination at 4 weeks of age. But I'm sorry, I do not allow people to come to just "play with puppies" or meet the parents. We don't have a kennel, so you are coming into our home.
We also require that you do not go to any other kennels or pet stores before coming to our home as we want to keep our puppies safe. We also do not allow other pets on our property nor do we let anyone handle any puppies that are under 4 weeks of age or that haven’t received there vaccination yet.
Answer: Please see our Waiting List page located in the tool bar above.
Answer: Your new puppy will have a health exam by my vet prior to leaving. He / She will come with Limited ASDR registration papers (unless other arrangements have been made), will have been microchipped, current vaccination & worming history, health guarantee, collar & leash set, a small blanket that smells like mom & littermates, NuVet K-9 Plus sample and a small amount of food to get you started. (If flying your puppy they will come with health cert, and crate)
Answer: Puppies will come with their first 2 vaccinations. They are administered at 4 wks. & 7 wks. This is to ensure proper protection against Parvo / Distemper
The 4 wk. vaccine is:
Nobivac® Puppy-DPv (Progard puppy-DPv) prevents Canine Distemper and Parvovirus
The 7 wk. vaccine is:
Nobivac® Canine 1-DAPPv (Galaxy DA2PPv) prevents Canine Distemper, Adenovirus Type 1 (Hepatitis), Adenovirus Type 2 (Respiratory Disease), Parainfluenza, and Parvovirus
Medical information will all be written out, so you can give that information to your veterinarian. You will work with your vet to map out the timeline for other needed vaccinations
Your new puppy will have completed their worming schedule. Puppies tails and dewclaws have also been removed at birth.

Answer: I have been breeding since 2001. I started with the Standard Australian Shepherd and just love the breed. Then I found that they came in a smaller packages. Ones that can go anywhere with you and don't take up the whole back seat of your car. I was even more in love, brains, loyalty, athletic, hardy, and easy to train, all wrapped in a little package that you can easily take anywhere.
Answer: It is very important that puppies are properly socialized so they become well-adjusted dogs. I use the Puppy Culture Program. Puppies have been very well socialized around people, other dogs, children, and are very comfortable with a household environment. Parents and puppies are all house dogs. So puppies are use to the hustle and bussel of a home. I'm a firm believer that early socialization will help the puppy better adjust to new surroundings and life with you after you bring him / her home.
Answer: Puppies are able to go home at 8 wks if you are picking up or meeting me. If puppy is being flown to his / her destination and you are picking up at the airport, they will be 9 - 10 wks (depending on airline regulations)
Answer: Yes I provide a 1 yr. health guarantee against genetic defect and that is defined in my puppy contract.
Answer: I will require that you fill out my puppy questionnaire on the puppy page of my website. This lets me know what kind of lifestyle and activity level that you lead, so that I can better match you with the puppy of your dreams. A signed puppy contract, that I will send once we have talked.
